Tacoma, WA, November 23, 2015 – Dr. Zubeir N. Jaffer, Board Certified Radiologist, has joined Diagnostic Imaging Northwest. Dr. Jaffer’s special interest focuses in Pediatric Radiology. His residency in Diagnostic Radiology was at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center, San Jose, CA. His Fellowship for Pediatric Radiology was completed at Stanford University Medical Center / Lucile Salter Packard Children’s Hospital, Palo Alto, CA.

Dr. Jaffer brings his experience to our team as a fellowship trained pediatric radiologist with CAQ certification. He brings a decade of experience working in a 45+ sub specialty group practice.

Additionally, he has worked in a 500-bed, level 1 trauma center in the Silicon Valley assisting the underserved population. He brings his diversity, experience and passion to our team to serve hospitals and doctors in our community.

His outlook and professionalism mirror ours, in our commitment to patients as he states, “I am committed to providing stellar pediatric sub specialty service for our patients and providers as well as providing excellent customer service”. Diagnostic Imaging Northwest (DINW) is an alliance of Medical Imaging Northwest and MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital. DINW is a dedicated radiology practice serving a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings in South King and Pierce Counties in Washington State. In addition, through Medical Imaging Northwest’s joint alliance with MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital, the radiologists support Diagnostic Imaging Northwest’s five outpatient sites located in Puyallup, Sunrise and Bonney Lake serving East Pierce County.

Full range of imaging services include: magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT), diagnostic ultrasound, women’s imaging, mammography and stereotactic breast biopsy, bone densitometry, musculoskeletal, geriatric, vascular, interventional, orthopedic, cross-sectional, neuroradiology, nuclear medicine and emergency radiology services.
